Rolled into One

Steven Ma might be my latest hero.

He has managed to design and build a bench, uh planter, er electricity generator  and roll it, quite literally, into a circular bench/planter/electricity generator made from – you guessed it – recycled materials (aluminum and glass). The ec-O generates electricity, stores water, grows plants, and acts as a night light!

Benches, Bookshelves, and Planters, oh Jerome!

Jerome, of Haters Recycled Furniture, is using recycled materials to build benches, bookshelves, and planters. And by recycled materials I mean old barn wood, recycled nails, and unused paint.

Benches start at $40, Large Planters are $24 and his small planters are $16!
